Yida's Concert @ DXO

Been to Huang Yida's Live Concert at DXO... Whether DXO is a cool place to chill out (I seriously don't know - I'm not a party animal). DXO aside, I'm excited at this chance to test (maybe more appropriately "play with") my camera & video function of my k750i babe... Btw, forgot to bring my flash, so use night mode. The photos, considering the existence of smoke & lack of flash, seem reasonable - though not very good for my liking (maybe it's my skill, not the camera fault). At least I've made sure that Ding Zhiyong (933 DJ) does not have double chin (this is smth which he's worried about).

The video mode is a bit disappointing - I can't blame the image quality for being small. But I realized that it's pretty easy to film Yida because he wasn't moving a lot (so the video clip featuring him is not interesting). In addition, the whole "Set Me Free" song turned out to be mere records of echos and noise (aiyo, who would want to watch this video?).

Happy but at a price

Hee... that day when my mum (accidentally) saw the cumulative sum of money my bank helped to tabulate over the past few mths... she began to nag at me to curb spending lah, to save up lah... hmm, come to think of it, I've really spent quite a bit these days...

Stolen T610 >>> new k750i

Damn... my SE T610 was stolen (I've cursed and sweared at the idiot who stole it). Actually I didn't want to make a police report but everybody seemed to suggest otherwise (they keep telling me that the police might be able to find it - okay lor - and I was influenced into making one). Initially I thought making an online police report would be an easy affair and I do not need to make a trip down to the police station. Alas, I was really naive man. Not only do I waste my time filing online, I had to make a trip down to the police station to have my whole incident reiterated while waiting for the investigating officer to type (actually i really wanted to tell the officer that it'll be faster if I were to type them myself - they shld really be trained in proper typing skills). Btw, the report is so detailed & so long until majum like writing a long-winded essay or story (the police academy must have been very successful in training them in this area). I didn't know why they added the number of siblings I have in the report (btw, what has the number of siblings to do with a lost hp)? I thought only the IMEI number matters... Anyway, I still haven't got back my hp even though they police reported raiding unregistered hp shops last sunday...

Immediately after I lost my hp, I felt very lost. It's also damned inconvenient. In the past when I didn't have hp (only a pager), I didn't feel it... but now, haiz. The hp is like an integrated part of me and it's like it's lost & gone forever. All the contacts, favourite photos, ringtones,... also went with it.

The troublesome part is to get back the contacts + to do some homework on what handphone to get next... continue my go with SE phones or change to Nokia or O2... In the end, I settled for a cool black k750i. I love my new phone (in fact I no longer missed w800i - initially i really wished for a w800i but the price puts me off - got to go with my head and not my heart this time round).

Hoping that SE will reward this SE supporter by letting me participate in the coming treasure hunt & win the Herbie car... that would be fantastic... *dreaming very hard / praying very hard too*...
