Just as I expected, the Mio installation wasn't smooth. Two hours after installation, the Mio set top box DSL light keeps blinking... everything went down. No home line. No internet access. FAINT. After a few hrs of torturous tries, it's because of a microfilter. KNS.
In the evening, three patches of colours (two purple, one green) appeared mysteriously on my desktop (Deskie) monitor. It appears, as though, to add more colours to my life. The display discolouration must be work of the DLINK wireless adaptor (placed too close to the monitor?). I thought the monitor was close to gone-case cos the big colour patches are really an eye-sore. Seriously, I didn't know there was this function on my monitor called "Degauss" until I search the net. What it does, as I understood, is to induce a high current surge to create a magnetic field inside the tube to oscillate rapidly with decreasing amplitude to leaves the shadow mask with a somewhat randomized field thereby removing the discoloration. The high current surge is also the cause of the audible "thunk" which can be heard when degauss is in action. Phew! Solved.
Then, not sure because of Singnet, or because of blogger, the "Create Post" page is problematic until some genious suggested a temporary solution to change www to www2.
