While I try to keep my perfectionist tendencies in check, my internal alarm kept buzzing for a few days last week after I discovered mistakes in the printed and binded documents. I have checked for the appearance of blank pages (due to the possible "sucking" in of more than one pieces of paper by the stupid laser printer). I have checked that the alignment is okay. I have checked the spacing of the characters... okie, basically things that cropped up on me before, I've helped to double check. Three copies of two hundred over pages... I have to be very frank to say that I didn't look at every single printed pages. Everything looked fine in my PC. It's PDF some more (less likely of distorted alignments, etc.) But why some characters were replaced by chapalan cheena characters were really beyond my comprehension. It just really happens that those pages I have scanned through didn't have any errors in it. Anyway, it's too late... Though there're some elements of guilt in me, I kept brainwashing myself that mistakes like this will happen once in a while. Frankly, I wouldn't "outsource" such stuff to anyone cos I still trust myself (perfectionalism in practice).
