elements beneath the sky...

Owning 2 masks - featuring my true self & the other self... I've drifted from the normal path. Juz some thoughts, opinions, complaints, gossips, bullshits... beneath the boundaryless sky that we share.

Name:

I am... by my own standards... a simple, sincere, average-looking scopio who can be both quiet and crazy; one who needs time to warm up to people; a homebody; sometimes impatient and stubborn, and erm, a mech engineer who doesn't look and sound like one.

Tormenting baths

I realized how tormenting it is to take a shower from a newly installed showerhead that is of a low-pressure type. This is the first time after my bath that I actually feel grouchier than the moment I pull myself up from bed (after a late night). My dad had always made the right purchase for all our showerheads… but why this “sub-standard” one this time round? Alas… looks like it’s time for me to take over this purchase task…

I actually took much longer to feel clean under the anemic flow of water and my mum yelled at me that I’m going to be running late… With water flowing like this, how to take a fast shower? The water does not “shoot out” like a wide body spray but “flow down slowly and peacefully” in a single narrow stream. Talking about indulging oneself in a shower like this… How to when it loses its basic massaging function and the drenching rainfall experience that I enjoy? I’m not encouraging water wastage but showering longer really defeats the purpose of the lower-flow head (if it’s purpose is to save water). I prefer a quick shower (most of the time).

Another point to note is it’s extremely poor showerhead design (those designers should be send packing to attend some Human Factors and Ergonomics course). I made a mental note to keep a look out for a replacement this weekend when I go shopping for a hair dryer and a vacuum flask. Else I’ll go crazy with such baths.
