Ordinary Birthday

I don't feel any special about my b'day... not sure why. I'm happy (because I'm 'BIG' on my b'day - anything I say also counts ;p) but I just don't feel the specialness of this day.
[My initial plan was to spend this day overseas but it somehow didn't materialize - so another day in Singapore is just another ordinary day to me...]

During schooling, my b'day always clashed with exams (so usually everyone is too busy cramming information into their brain and have no time for this celebration nonsense). And now that I'm older, eating out is such a norm that I almost have no feel that I'm actually eating at some nice places to celebrate my b'day (with the exception that I definitely do not have to pay for anything I order)... chong qing hot pot buffet, korean bbq, etc... and even aft my b'day over... I still have unclaimed Geylang frog leg porridge fr "zhuzhu", and another promised dinner from KP... [need to have these feasts spread out a little... my stomach needs to rest].

As usual, received birthday wishes through sms, mms, and msn... and I realized some people just don't remember my birthday (not that I remember theirs... hahah). Oh yah, and now I have: snoozing partner (soft toy lah), t-shirt, Doraemon fan (more like a toy), CD, Bvlgari - Omnia Crystalline perfume (great fragrance & bottle), and my k750i was upgraded to 1GB that allows more mp3, photos, videos in it, b'dae card, cute doggie wrist rest... and of course, not to forget those meals already in my stomach (eh, should be out already)... and those not yet in...

Usually I celebrate the birthdays of others but I haven't really celebrated mine (I mean in an extraordinary way)... next yr, I'll make sure I do it overseas.
